The Goshen Center Ruritans present “The Bunker Hill Shootout” 2009 pulling series. This year promises to be packed full of power and plenty of thick black smoke with the addition of several new classes.

Brand New Classes and Events

Just added this year is The NADM (National Association of Diesel Motorsports) Truck pulling series, in conjunction with the NWPA Pullers Association, the Bunker Hill Shootout will be sure to offer entertainment to all. Local points for the NADM will be available in June and August and National Points will attract pullers from across the country in July. As always points for each month are available for the NWPA pullers as well. If that’s not enough to keep your attention scoot to the edge of your seat and get ready to witness classes like super stock trucks, super farm tractors, limited modified trucks and many more.

By the end of the night you won’t need a seat because everyone will be on their feet to get a view of the raw and powerful street legal semis that take over the 450′ track. There’s something for everyone to enjoy whether you bleed red or green!

The gates open at 5pm with the first hook around 7pm. Admission is Just $5 for adults and the little ones 12 and under get to enjoy it all for FREE. Come hungry and treat yourself to some great food from the concession stand. (PLEASE NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ON PARK PROPERTY)

About Goshen Center Ruritans

Chartered in 1961, the Ruritans have been hosting pulls for over 40 years. Held the second full weekend on both Friday and Saturday nights in June, July and August the event is sure to offer entertainment for people of all ages from the tri-state area. A well lighted playground and parking lot area add safety while enjoying the event.

The Goshen Center Ruritans are a non-profit organization that raise money through events such as the tractor pulls and other fund raisers to assist local students in the form of scholarships, local families in need and local safety forces. New members are always welcome.
